This gallery presents the artist-led phase of The Ties That Bind Asheville, a long-term participatory public art installation.

The images are organized chronologically in small groups corresponding to individual site visits between May and November 2025. Together, they document the gradual accumulation of participant contributions, as well as changes in weather, seasonal vegetation growth, infrastructure repair and maintenance, and public movement through the space.

Instead of displaying a single static artwork, the gallery traces the installation’s evolution within a shared public environment over time. Visitors are invited to explore the archive sequentially to observe nuanced changes in materials, landscape, participation, and site conditions throughout the artist-led phase.
